We came together for this three-week exploration of the Hijikata butoh method with masters Natsu Nakajima, Saga Kobayashi, and Kanazawa Butoh Kan. In these workshops we journeyed through the world of Hijikata's ankoku butoh, searching for new ways of seeing, moving, and being. We posed rather than answered questions about the nature of butoh, guiding participants towards a discovery of their own understanding and integration of the Hijikata method.
